Cancer & Plant-Based Nutrition
Nutrition plays an important role in cancer prevention and in supporting overall health and well-being following a cancer diagnosis. Leading cancer organizations, including the World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF), American Institute for Cancer Research (AICR), and Canadian Cancer Society, recommend dietary patterns rich in whole grains, vegetables, fruits, legumes, and other plant foods as part of a healthy lifestyle.
In this section, we share evidence-based resources and practical guidance to support individuals in adopting a healthy, plant-rich dietary pattern, consistent with cancer prevention recommendations and for improving outcomes following a cancer diagnosis.
